I was practicing yesterday with steel bearings and some .440 round ball I had bought based on advice from the forum. The round ball hit harder, but was consistently a couple inches below target. If I mostly practice with the cheaper steel bearings, it seems like my aim be off when hunting with the round ball.
For those of you who hunt with lead, it that what you practice with? Or do you make some kind of mental adjustment in your aiming based on what you're using that day? Would a more powerful slingshot offset the differences in ammo weight (I use a Daisy with tube bands).
