A friend from Canada sent me a piece of the old red rubber we used as kids for one of my frames. This is the stuff from the innertubes of tires we found at gas stations and also truck tubes we used when swimming. This is a little thicker then what I remember but it does smell the same. I rigged up a 1/2" straight set of bands on a modified Vortex. I was shooting 1/2" and 9/16" steel balls and was probably doing around 150-160fps. There are faster rubbers out there but as I remember it,this stuff was very tough. The smell brought back a lot of memories! Smile Flatband
