Nice Bowfin Bud! I got a ton of pictures but their not Digital.I like Bass fishing in small weed choked ponds that are tucked out of the way.Everyone passes them by or thinks their no good or too tough to fish.I use only artificials and take a picture and release them.I'll see if I can copy a few pictures and put them on.Hey Pickerel are a blast too! Flatband Very Happy

The 2 best Bass I got were both 7 lbs.Got one on a jig and pig and the other on a crankbait. The average size up here is 1-2 lbs.Got a few nice Pickerel also.I guess the biggest was around 28-30"s and maybe 5lbs.I think I got him on a big yellow spinnerbait. I also like surf fishing.I plan to start going pretty soon.I live a couple blocks from the beach and when the big blues and stripers come in,it sometimes gets crazy.Nothing like a big blue crashing your top water lure! Flatband Smile

Theres a reason michigan is called the great lakes state :3 my thing is the perch and blue gill theyre huge up here, just this summer me and my rents went to the lake and were killing the bluegill, my dad caught a 23 inch bass, and i caught a 17 inch perch! we were fishing all summer and usually bring in 20 or 30 panfish home every time we went, now that i have a digital camera next year im taking pictures, the perch is the tastiest, but theyre harder to find on the lake but when we do theyre usually pretty good sized! we always cook em up, theres nothing better tasting than food you caught tourself!

walleye are ok, but theyre really fishy so are bass crappie and rockbass, we usually just get the blugills, the hybrid bluegills, and the perch they have almost a sweet taste to em, catfish are really good too if you really want to take the time to clean em, but we usually just throw em back, we always eat everything we keep so we generally dont take any pics, maybe next season, one of these days i would like to try ocean fishing, sounds fun and tasty Smile

well there are size limits to most fish, bass have to be at least 12 inches to keep, blue gill are limited to twenty or thirty a person i cant member, but you have to get a fishing license, we usually dont keep bluegill unless theyre at least as big or bigger than the width of our hand, and we only keep the perch if theyre at least 10 or 12 inches long and i actually think they might have just increased the size limit for bass from twelve to 14 inches too

I like to do a bit of fishing also. I like to go for species rather then the heaviest. In the UK there's this whole carp scene going on. I went Piking yesterday and caught four good size pike on a lure yesterday, but forgot my camera.  Mad

Some of my latest catches:

A larger chub from my local river: (Caught on bread)

A larger Perch from my local canal: (Caught on a small shad)

A little Jack Pike: (Lure) Actually the first Pike I ever caught.

Wildman, I can't see your pic. We aren't actually aloud to eat our catches here unless it's our own land/ the sea. It's a bit of a joke actually. We have actually began to put up signs in fisheries to stop the Polish immigrants taking out large carp to eat.  Smile

Mainly rabbits. Not that I've ever gotten one. They seem to spook real quick. I haven't been on a proper hunt yet, just walking where I've got my slingshot. I'm fairly new to it. Smile What about you?

Very cool Jojo, rapala floating minnows are one of my favorite baits along side an AC Shiner. I have heard of the peacock bass but never paid them much mind. I hear they get very big.

I go after bass, catfish and bluegill mostly. If the weather clears up i'm supposed to go after trout with a guy, will be my first time for them. I love to catch bass and catfish though.

Oh really, that's cool. It's unheard of here to catch trout on a spinner. Everyone loves fly fishing. I haven't been spinning long for pike, but it's rewarding when you get one. My favourite method is trotting down a river with a centrepin. Very Happy

I caught these two on powerbait, some of the fellas at the lake were using spinners but weren't catching much but we did alright with powerbait fishing on the bottom, just gobbled these two beauties down.

Nope ... It is a tropic fish that is why it is found in the amazon ... if i am not wrong there is more than one type of peacock bass ... In singapore they dont stock fishes ... That explains why fishes are not very big over here ... There are no bag limits too and you dont have to have a licience to fish ... How i wished it applied to cats to !!!!!
